From the coast of the Iroise Sea in Brittany, France, Benoit has grown up in the centre of maritime culture, spending his childhood fishing, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, diving, snorkelling and surfing. Benoit competes in surf longboarding and SUP surf and has immense success across both of the sports. In longboarding, he won the European junior title in 2014 and ranked 7th in the WSL European Qualifying Series.

Benoit is overflowing with accolades within the SUP department. He represented France at the ISA World Championship and contributed to France’s Bronze medal in 2018 and both Silver medals in 2016 and 2017. He is also the current French and European Champion and was the 2019 ISA SUP World Champion.
