Blue grew up in the South West of England on the South Coast, only a 10-minute drive from his local beach. As the son of parents who run a watersports shop and a father who is a retired competitive windsurfer, it is no surprise that Blue became immersed in watersports. Blue’s parents taught him to surf, windsurf and SUP when he was 8 years old, so he spent the majority of his childhood in the water.

He only became hooked on the SUP drug at 14 years of age and since, Blue has dominated the British SUP scene. He has won 2 British titles, one in SUP distance and one in technical racing and has represented team Great Britain in both European and World Championships in SUP surfing. Having recently joined the APP World Tour, Blue is focusing on flat water racing with the hope to compete with the top paddlers in the world in years to come.
