Boris’ love for water sports began when he started kayaking when he was 12 years old in his hometown of Brittany. He competed in wild water kayaking for years and reached a high-level athlete status but stopped to focus on his studies. When he met Amandine Chazot, the pair decided to embark upon a new sport together and this sport was Stand-Up Paddling. Boris has since ranked 4th in the downwind and 5th in the long distance in the French National Championship and ranked 5th at the Vendée Gliss Event.

Boris is currently a marketing and sales manager at a French company but is hoping to step up his competing and reach international level alongside partner in crime, Amandine Chazot. With sponsors under his belt including Sunova and Blackfish and a dedicated training regime written by a professional coach Bernard Jaouen, and SUP pioneer Amaury Dormet it seems as though Boris is equipped to take on the international circuit.
