Christian Andersen, better known as “Polar Bear,” is an eighteen-year-old Stand Up Paddler from Klitmøller (Cold Hawaii). Christian started surfing when he was 9 and quickly got into Stand-Up Paddling at the age of 10. Casper Steinfath remains his hero and mentor, as he coached Christian through the beginning of his career.

Christian began competing in 2014 in Junior divisions and dominated the competition. Since then, he placed 1st in the U18 Euro Tour in 2017, 1st in the Danish SUP tour in 2018 and is now a serious competitor in the APP World Tour, taking on Red Bull Heavy Water in 2019.
