Federico was born in Padova, Italy into a family of sport lovers, so he tried a lot of different sports from a young age including skiing, snowboarding, motocross, windsurfing and kitesurfing - all of which he started before he was 15 years old. He tried Stand Up Paddling for the first time when he was 12 when he spent the summer in Lignano. Firstly it was something to do during the windless days, but then it becomes his principal training and sport and in 2010 he participated in his first competition in Lignano.

Some of Federico’s best results include becoming 2 X Italian junior sup race champion, 2 X Italian SUP Surf champion and finishing 8th at the long distance race during the ISA championship in Nicaragua 2014. When Federico is not paddling, he likes to kitesurfing and foil and in the winters he likes to ski. He has just finished his university study of sport science and is working as a kitesurf instructor during the summer period.
