Itzel Delgado grew up in Lima, Peru with his surfer family. His first competitive water sport was bodyboarding, but Itzel switched his focus to SUP at the age of 14 in 2013. Since then, Itzel has won a bronze medal in the PanAmerican games in 2019, a silver medal in the 2019 ISA Long Distance race and is currently ranked in 9th in the APP ranking for 2019. At just 22 years old, we can expect big things from the Peruvian, as he showcases his potential across the globe.
