About
Justin Holland grew up on Emerald Beach in Australia, which is as picturesque as it sounds. He was a very sporty child both in and out of water, pursuing soccer, cricket, football, swimming, running and surfing. He first tried SUP in 2010 when a bad ankle injury forced Justin to stop surfing and he unprecedently caught the bug for the sport and has never stopped SUPing since. The definition of every cloud has a silver lining.
Justin has since had an impressive career where at its height he ranked 2nd in the ISA Championships in 2012 and also held the title of Australian Champion in 2013. He is currently working on passing the torch to the younger generation of SUPers through developing SUP boards suited to children called Little Rippas. Outside of the sport, Justin is a father of two and has his own carpentry business, but he makes sure never to take too much time out of chasing waves.
