Marius grew up in the North West of France in Normandy. His father surfs, windsurfs and foils and was the main influence on Marius’ pursuit of ocean sports. Marius first pursued windsurfing at just 6 years old and began competing regionally. After being successful in these competitions he continued to train hard and then made the transition to Stand-Up Paddling.

Although Marius is studying full time for his degree, he has been triumphant on the international circuit. He competed in the ISA World Championships in El Salvador in 2019 and came home with a 3rd place individually and a 1st place medal alongside his French team.
