Maximillian Torres grew up in a small surfing town in Isabela Puerto Rico, which has consistent all-year-round waves. His whole family has surfed for generations, so Max was the inevitable successor of the surf gene. Max has surfed my whole life and still does, but when he traded boards with his friend who had a SUP board and surfed a wave on it, he became hooked on SUP surfing.

At only 19 years of age Max has already ranked 6th in the 2019 ISA World Champion, placing himself among the best in the world. Whilst he is currently in college, Max is determined to claim a gold medal in a major SUP surfing championship and trains every day.
