About
Noic Garioud grew up in Nouméa in New Caldonia where he began to surf at just 3 years old, before he could even swim. When Noic was 12 years old, his father introduced him to SUP surfing and then they both moved to SUP racing and downwinding together.
Noic’s is certainly an emerging talent on the SUP scene. At just 16 years old he won both the Double Downwind race and the technical race on the Hood river and in 2019 he claimed victory in the sprint race during the London stop of the APP World Tour, beating out Casper Steinfath in a final, proving himself among the heavyweights of the industry. We can expect big things from Noic.
