The Sunset Beach Pro was the first official stop on the APP World Tour back in 2010 and has since served as an annual homecoming for the Tour, providing some of the most spectacular and ground-breaking performances in the sport of Stand-Up Paddling. This year, the world-class wave will host the finals of the SUP Surfing tour, crowning world champions for both men and women.

There will be a ten-day holding period between 18th– 28th January to allow athletes to capitalise on the best surf through the holding period.

As usual, there will be an open competition; the winners of which will gain entry into the main event to compete against the best Stand Up Paddle Surfers in the world. There will also be an Under 14s and Under 18s categories to allow the next generation show what they’ve got on this world class wave.

We are excited to continue our legacy at this iconic venue and create even more history as the level of SUP surfing keeps getting better and better.
