600 People Take to the Canary Wharf Docklands for Two-Day Stand-Up Paddle Spectacle

This past week the APP World Tour hosted a two-day SUP Spectacle in the heart of London, which saw over 600 people take to the water to try their hand at the world's fastest growing sport.

Workers, residents, and visitors alike assembled on the Canary Wharf docklands for a free Stand-Up Paddle or yoga sessions led by the top professionals on the World Tour, including 2018 World Champion Arthur Arutkin.

The iconic skyline of Canary Wharf provided a spectacular backdrop for two days of beginner sessions, professional races and amateur races which the APP World Tour will return to in 2022 for a festival and a stop of the professional World Tour.

The APP World Tour and its City Paddle Festivals is Confirmed to Return to Canary Wharf For a Bigger and Better Event in 2022

The event is a taster for all that is to come in August 2022 when the APP World Tour will return to the capital city once again for the London SUP Open. The London SUP Open will combine a stop of the professional World Racing Tour with a City Paddle Festival at Canary Wharf, offering opportunities for everyone to get active on the water and give SUP a go.

Special thanks to the Canary Wharf Group, Blue Chip SUP School, Decathlon, Fanatic SUP UK, J SUP and Bray Lake Water Sports for contributing to the success of the event.
